Printing Services was established to support the core mission of Vanderbilt University, and post-separation, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Each day, our staff worked tirelessly to ensure your deadlines were met, quality was maintained, and the integrity of the Vanderbilt brand was upheld. Since the mid-1960’s, we're proud to say that by and large, we fulfilled that mission.
In-plant printers (internal print operations that support a larger organization) have a tough row to hoe; whether in a corporate, nonprofit, or higher-education environment, there are multiple forces on the operation to run effectively and efficiently, and outclass the commercial print world – often with limited resources. Although recent years saw a reinvestment in staff, equipment, and technology, it simply wasn’t enough to overcome the challenges to remain relevant in the current landscape.
We understand that for many of our customers, a typical Printing Services transaction was more than just about paper and ink – it was truly a partnership. We will treasure those relationships and have fond memories of collaborating, brainstorming, and often pulling rabbits out of our collective hats to make the impossible happen. We’ve been fortunate enough to have a front-row seat to the inner workings of this university, including the student admissions process, the athletics recruiting cycle, the alumni relations network, and even patient care delivery. We’re honored that you that trusted us to help tell your story, and are glad to have had even a small role in the success of this important enterprise.
And with that, we bid you a fond farewell. It’s been our pleasure to work alongside you.
